Jay Enem joins Bologna from Red Star Belgrade

Dutch-Nigerian striker Jay Enem has completed a permanent transfer from Red Star Belgrade to Bologna for a reported fee of €6 million. The 23-year-old, who stands 1.95m tall, signed a contract with the Italian club running until June 30, 2030.

Following the acquisition, Bologna has decided to immediately loan Enem to the Swiss club FC Lugano to ensure he gains consistent playing time and international experience. This move replaces previous reports suggesting a loan to Norwich City.

Enem’s departure follows a successful period at Red Star, where he scored seven goals in 22 appearances. The transfer represents a significant profit for Red Star, which had previously acquired his rights from OFK Beograd for €2 million.
