Bologna: Six-year-old girl attacked by five children in park

A six-year-old girl was attacked by a group of five children at San Donnino park in Bologna on Friday afternoon. According to the victim's mother, the group surrounded the child during a moment of distraction and kicked her, primarily in the legs, causing her to fall to the ground.

The attackers are estimated to be between 6 and 10 years old. While the specific motives for the assault remain unclear, the mother stated she did not know the children and had no prior interaction with them. Local reports suggest the group may be of North African origin.

The child was taken to the Policlinico Sant’Orsola hospital for medical evaluation. She received necessary care but was not hospitalized.
