Bologna targets Diego Carlos amid Jhon Lucumì’s expected exit

Bologna FC is preparing for the likely departure of defender Jhon Lucumì, who has indicated he will not renew his contract that expires in June 2027. The club has identified several possible replacements, including a reported interest in Brazilian centre‑back Diego Carlos, currently owned by Fenerbahçe after a spell at Como.

Juventus is also pursuing Lucumì, with a valuation of around €25 million and competition from clubs such as Como, Galatasaray, Besiktas and Rennes. Bologna’s transfer list additionally mentions German defender Marc‑Oliver Kempf as a potential signing. The negotiations are ongoing as the summer window approaches.
