Bologna to host 2026 Champagne Experience with 125 Maisons

The ninth edition of the Champagne Experience is scheduled to take place on October 4 and 5, 2026, at BolognaFiere in Italy. Organized by Excellence SIDI, a group of twenty-one major Italian wine and spirits importers and distributors, the event serves as a primary meeting point for the HoReCa sector, importers, producers, and enthusiasts.

For the 2026 edition, the event will move to Pavilion 18 at BolognaFiere to provide a larger, more functional space for the thousands of visitors expected. The exhibition will feature tastings from 125 Champagne Maisons, with tasting stations organized by production zones, including Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs, and Côte des Bar, as well as a dedicated area for classic houses.

The event arrives during a period of adjustment for the Champagne region, as the CIVC has revised upcoming harvest yields to better align supply with current market demand. The organizers aim to use the event to facilitate networking and provide concrete strategies for valuing the iconic wine within the professional market. The event also continues its collaboration with Champagne de Vignerons to highlight the work of small-scale growers.
