Italian Serie A club Bologna is evaluating the possibility of selling its striker Santiago Castro after Premier League clubs, notably Nottingham Forest, showed interest. The club has set a valuation of about €35 million for Castro and would consider offers close to that figure.

In anticipation of a potential departure, Bologna have identified Spanish forward Carlos Espi of Levante as a potential replacement. Espi carries a release clause of €25 million, and the club hopes to secure him before other interested teams, such as Lazio, make a move.
