Bolognola hosts Filiera Viva to promote wool and mountain identity
The town of Bolognola is hosting 'Filiera Viva', a two-day event focused on the wool industry, local craftsmanship, and mountain identity. The initiative aims to promote regional development and seasonal tourism through the reuse of traditional skills.
Key activities include workshops at the Wool Museum, a local market showcasing Sibillini excellence, and a roundtable discussion titled 'Reuse of wool and relaunch of internal areas' held at Palazzo Primavera. The event features institutional participation from Senator Guido Castelli, Mayor Cristina Gentili, and Corrado Perugini, President of the Monti Sibillini National Park.
Mayor Gentili noted that the project, funded in part by the Marche Region through a grant for the animation of historic villages, seeks to create new opportunities for youth and revitalize the territory. The program also includes musical performances, narrative walks, and local food experiences.
