Mineiro plea deal reveals US$ 12.3M transfer for Bolsonaro biopic
Antonio Carlos Freixo Junior, known as Mineiro, has signed a plea agreement with the Prosecutor General's Office (PGR) regarding the Banco Master case. In his testimony, Mineiro detailed a scheme involving the transfer of approximately US$ 12.3 million to the Havengate Development Fund in the United States between January and September 2025.
According to the collaborator, these transfers were made at the request of Daniel Vorcaro, former controller of Banco Master, and were intended to finance the production of 'Dark Horse', a film about former President Jair Bolsonaro. Mineiro stated that the payments were requested following negotiations involving Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. The Havengate fund is managed by Paulo Calixto, an attorney for Eduardo Bolsonaro.
Mineiro also alleged that he was responsible for generating large amounts of cash for Vorcaro's team, which were reportedly delivered in suitcases. He claimed to have moved roughly R$ 1.3 billion between 2020 and 2025 on behalf of Vorcaro and his associates. The plea agreement is currently under review by Supreme Court Minister André Mendonça.
