Bolsonaro family members discuss Flávio Bolsonaro's presidential campaign

Members of the Bolsonaro family have made various statements regarding Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential campaign and his relationship with the Brazilian judiciary. Renato Bolsonaro, a candidate for federal deputy in São Paulo, noted that Flávio lacks the same mass mobilization capabilities as his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, describing this as a primary challenge for the campaign.

Renato also suggested that Jair Bolsonaro could play an active role in a potential government, possibly as a formal or informal advisor. Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., Eduardo Bolsonaro claimed that a victory for Flávio could lead the Supreme Federal Court (STF) to contest the election results. Eduardo suggested that such actions by the Court might prompt the United States to impose sanctions on Brazilian magistrates under the Magnitsky Act, though no evidence has been provided to support claims of planned judicial interference in the election.
