Bolt expands Romanian operations with new infrastructure and digital services

Bolt has introduced several new initiatives in Romania to support its driver partners and improve passenger experiences. The company has inaugurated its first dedicated pick-up and drop-off point in the country at the AFI Cotroceni mall in Bucharest. This designated area features three branded parking spaces intended to reduce wait times for passengers and provide a specific location for drivers to wait without searching for parking.

Additionally, Bolt has entered into a partnership with SOLO, a digital platform for managing individual professional activities (PFA). This collaboration aims to simplify administrative and accounting tasks for ride-hailing drivers through a monthly subscription. The service covers income and invoice processing, deductible expense management, and tax filings, addressing the growing segment of drivers operating as independent entities.
