Bolt invests 150 million zł to expand carsharing fleet in Warsaw

Estonian mobility group Bolt is launching its Bolt Drive car‑sharing service in Warsaw, Poland, with an investment of more than 150 million zł. The company plans to have around 400 vehicles – primarily Toyota Yaris and Yaris Cross models – on the streets by the end of 2027. The rollout fills the gap left by the departure of Panek CarSharing, which suspended operations in 2025.

Bolt Drive rents cars by the minute with flexible billing options, including per‑minute, hourly, daily or weekly packages. The price covers fuel, parking in city zones and includes mandatory third‑party liability insurance. Vehicles are equipped with speed‑monitoring and a “Driving Score” system, and 24/7 support is provided through the app. Users must be at least 23 years old and hold a licence for a minimum of one year. The service also integrates a Bolt for Business package for corporate travel.

The expansion aims to boost car‑sharing adoption in Poland as traditional taxi services decline, offering a new mobility alternative for residents and businesses.
