Bolt launches ChatGPT taxi‑ordering integration across Europe

Bolt has introduced a new ordering channel that lets users request a ride through a conversation with ChatGPT. Users can type a pickup and destination, receive an estimated fare, possible routes and the driver’s arrival time, and then are automatically redirected to the Bolt app where the ride is confirmed and paid for. The feature works in all markets where Bolt operates, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine and Azerbaijan, making Bolt the first ride‑hailing platform to be accessible via ChatGPT.

Senior vice‑president Paddy Partridge said the service “means people no longer have to plan their evening across multiple apps, as more of daily life moves to AI.” While payment currently remains in the Bolt app, Bolt plans to add direct payment within ChatGPT in the future.
