Bolt reports 200% increase in Greek trips this summer
Bolt, the European urban mobility platform, reported a 200% increase in completed trips in Greece during the summer season compared to the previous year. Ride requests also saw a 165% rise during the June–August quarter, with July marking the highest demand month since the company began operations in Greece in January 2025.
This growth follows Bolt's expansion into four major Greek tourist destinations: Heraklion, Mykonos, Santorini, and Corfu. Key transportation hubs identified as popular pickup points include Athens International Airport, the Port of Piraeus, and the Kifisou Bus Station.
The platform served passengers from 146 different nationalities. Among international users, the Netherlands saw the highest year-on-year increase at 282%, followed by Poland with a 152% increase.
