Bolton Wanderers agree deal for Gent striker Max Dean

Bolton Wanderers have reached an agreement with Belgian club KAA Gent to sign 22-year-old striker Max Dean. The English Championship side is expected to pay a seven-figure transfer fee to secure the player.

Dean is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. If the medical is successful, the striker will return to England after his stint in the Jupiler Pro League. Dean previously played for MK Dons in England, where he scored 20 goals in 43 appearances, before moving to Gent in the summer of 2024. During his time with Gent, he recorded 13 goals in 40 appearances.
