Bolu hosts large-scale Çorum cultural event with 41 cauldrons of İskilip dolması

Approximately 10,000 people gathered in Bolu for a large-scale cultural event organized by the Çorum Residents Association to celebrate Çorum heritage. The centerpiece of the event was the preparation of İskilip dolması, a 600-year-old traditional dish.

To accommodate the crowd, 41 large cauldrons were used to cook the dish over wood fires. The preparation process lasted 18 hours, including 13 hours of slow cooking on low heat. Hakkı Dişli, the Bolu Provincial President of the Çorum Residents Association, noted that the scale of the event, involving 41 cauldrons, is a first in the history of the Republic.

The event, which required 35 days of preparation, aimed to strengthen cultural values and bring together the Çorum community living in Bolu.
