Bolívar secured a 1-0 victory over Gualberto Villarroel San José in a rescheduled match for the first round of the Copa Simón Bolívar group stage. The winning goal was scored by Damián Batallini via a penalty in the 67th minute, marking his first goal since returning from injury.
