Bolívar wins Bolivian women's league title amid Paraguayan football season close

In Bolivian women's football, Bolívar secured its first Liga Femenina title after defeating Astor FC in a penalty shootout. The match, held in Tarija, ended in a draw after Jhenifer Cuba equalized for Astor FC in the 89th minute following a free kick. With this victory, Bolívar has qualified for the 2027 Copa Libertadores Femenina.

In Paraguay, the 2026 Campeonato Anual FEM concluded with a 0-0 draw between Recoleta FC and Guarani at the Estadio Ricardo Gregor in Asunción. Goalkeeper Kamila Benítez provided key saves for Recoleta FC to maintain the scoreless tie. Guarani finished the tournament in 4th place with 44 points, while Recoleta FC ended in 8th place with 21 points.
