Bon Iver announces 10th anniversary edition of ‘22, A Million’

Bon Iver has announced a 10th-anniversary deluxe edition of its 2016 experimental album, ‘22, A Million’, scheduled for release on November 20 via Jagjaguwar Records.

The expanded release will feature extensive visual work by artist and designer Eric Timothy Carlson. The LP edition will include frosted silver vinyl, alternative cover art, the original 28-page lyric booklet in silver inks, and a new 12-page full-color inlay booklet. This new booklet will document the album’s creative process and include an essay by Carlson regarding the integration of symbolist iconography and the album’s unique visual language.

The CD edition will feature new artwork presented in a 12-panel ‘inverted cross’ package. The original album, led by Justin Vernon, was recorded primarily at his April Base studio in Wisconsin, with additional tracking in London and near Lisbon.
