Bonao government building renovation completed for RD$244 million
The Dominican government is set to inaugurate a renovated building in Bonao that formerly housed the Pedro E. de Marchena hospital. The project, which cost over 244 million pesos, aims to recover national heritage while centralizing public services.
More than thirty state offices will operate from the facility located on Doctor Columna Avenue. Key agencies scheduled to move into the building include the General Directorate of Passports (DGP), the General Directorate of National Assets, the Office for the Protection of Electricity Consumers (Protecom), the National Institute of Transit and Land Transport (Intrant), Senasa, and the Ministry of Public Health.
