Bonde söker fru returns for 21st season in Sweden

The 21st season of the Swedish reality dating program ‘Bonde söker fru’ (Farmer Wants a Wife) has premiered. Host Linda Lindorff noted that the show has been extended by thirty minutes, with episodes now running for an hour and a half to allow for more in-depth storytelling.

This season features four farmers from across Sweden: Patrik, a horse and meat farmer from Djursholm; Daniel, a dairy farmer from Ytterby; Oliver, a lamb farmer from Gotland; and Anders, a forestry farmer from Sunne.

Lindorff revealed behind-the-scenes tension during filming, noting that the intense emotions and pressure can lead to physical symptoms like dizziness or nausea. Specifically, she mentioned that Daniel experienced extreme nervousness during his first meeting at the castle, an incident that was not shown on camera.
