Bondeno introduces cataloging project for Carlo Tassi library

The project ‘La Biblioteca Del Pittore, un patrimonio da sfogliare’ has been introduced in Bondeno to present the cataloging of the literary legacy of Carlo Tassi. The collection is housed in his House Museum and is now part of the Polo Bibliotecario Ferrarese.

Supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region, the project aims to enhance the heritage of illustrious historical figures. The library contains over 2,500 documents that serve as a testament to Tassi’s intellectual and artistic formation. The collection primarily focuses on art history, including encyclopedias, treatises, and monographs, but also covers subjects such as archaeology, music, photography, and science.
