Bone Regency pushes Perusda Ellung Mangenre to develop local agriculture and fisheries

The Bone Regency Government in South Sulawesi is working to optimize local resources to increase Regional Original Income (PAD) and stimulate economic growth. A key strategy involves strengthening the role of the regional company, Perusda Ellung Mangenre.

During a coordination meeting led by Regent Andi Asman Sulaiman, officials identified agriculture, livestock, and fisheries as the primary sectors for development. The initiative aims to move beyond simple production by focusing on commodity processing, creating added value, and expanding market access for local farmers, breeders, and fishermen.

The government is encouraging synergy between the regional company, local government agencies, business actors, and community groups to build a sustainable and productive business chain.
