Bone to host TNI anniversary domino tournament

Kodim 1407/Bone is organizing a domino tournament to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The event is scheduled to take place on September 26-27, 2026, at Lapangan Merdeka Watampone and surrounding locations in Bone, South Sulawesi.

To maximize participation, the tournament is being held in conjunction with the Gau’ Maraja cultural festivities, which run from September 24-29, 2026. Letkol Inf Laode Muhammad Idrus stated that the timing aims to encourage visitors attending the cultural events to also participate in the tournament.

The competition offers a total prize pool of Rp400 million, with the first-place winner receiving Rp132 million. The tournament has a limited quota of 2,048 pairs of participants.
