Bonghwa County hosts community harmony and lifelong learning events

Bonghwa County recently hosted two major community events aimed at fostering local unity and celebrating resident achievements.

The Bonghwa County Village Heads Association held its ‘2026 Family Harmony Festival’ at Mulyayeon Living Sports Park. Approximately 600 village heads and their families from 10 townships attended the event. The gathering included awards for exemplary village heads, athletic competitions, and talent shows designed to strengthen communication and solidarity among those serving as the primary link between the administration and residents.

Simultaneously, the county held the ‘2026 Bonghwa County Lifelong Learning Achievement Sharing Session’ at the Lifelong Learning Center. Attended by roughly 300 residents and learners, the event showcased various educational outcomes, including poetry exhibitions by senior citizens and performances by 15 learning clubs. The program featured hands-on experiences such as aroma massage and keychain making to encourage community-wide engagement in lifelong education.
