Bonghwa County outlines 2027 administrative work plans

Bonghwa County held a series of reporting sessions from the 3rd to the 8th to establish its major administrative work plans for 2027. The sessions focused on reviewing the implementation of the 9th popularly elected administration's pledges, new policies, and key pending projects.

To address difficult fiscal conditions, the county is adopting a strategy of “selection and focus.” This involves re-evaluating the priority of all projects and boldly adjusting or reducing those that are non-essential or lack urgency to maximize budget efficiency. The administration also plans to strengthen its ability to secure national and provincial funds through various public contest projects.

Additionally, the county aims to develop long-term strategies to counter structural challenges such as population decline and changes in industrial structures. Efforts will be concentrated on discovering differentiated policies that leverage Bonghwa's local strengths in forestry, ecology, and agriculture to secure sustainable growth engines.
