Bonilla a la Vista reports significant profit growth

Bonilla a la Vista, the Spanish company known for its potato chips and churros, has reversed a four-year trend of declining profits. The group reported a combined turnover of 9.5 million euros, a 6.8% increase over the previous year, with total profits rising 243% to 597,733 euros.

The most substantial growth occurred at the Epagal potato chip factory located in Sabón (Arteixo). The factory's net profit surged by 882%, rising from 41,546 euros in 2024 to 408,143 euros in 2025. While sales at the plant grew from 5.37 million to 5.83 million euros, the profit spike was primarily driven by a significant reduction in procurement costs. Specifically, supply costs dropped from 52% of sales to 42.7%.

The group's business is split between Epagal, which manages industrial production, and Bonilla e Hijos, which operates five churrerías in A Coruña. While production costs decreased, personnel expenses and other operating costs saw slight increases.
