Bonito receives UFRJ studies for Municipal Master Plan revision

The Municipality of Bonito has received technical studies and diagnostics from professors at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) to support the revision of the Municipal Master Plan.

Developed through a technical agreement, the studies provide comprehensive data on territory, environment, infrastructure, sanitation, mobility, urban occupation, social aspects, and economic development. The goal is to establish guidelines for orderly urban growth that balance economic and tourism development with environmental conservation, particularly regarding water resources and sensitive areas.

Following this stage, the draft proposal for the Master Plan revision will be sent to the City Council for legislative appreciation. The process is expected to include further technical discussions and public participation.
