Bonito implements R$ 30 million asphalt resurfacing program
The municipality of Bonito is advancing asphalt resurfacing projects across several regions to improve urban infrastructure, traffic conditions, and safety for drivers and motorcyclists.
Key work areas include Rua Monte Castelo, specifically near the Municipal Cemetery and the Vila Jaraguá bridge, as well as Rua Olívio Flores. In Vila Donária, paving improvements are being implemented on Rua Ari da Silva Machado.
These infrastructure works are part of the Municipal Efficiency Program (PEM), a credit line designed to expand municipal investment capacity. The funding is sourced from a contract with Banco do Brasil and is supported by municipal laws 1.681/2023 and 1.655/2022. Combined with the first stage, total investments for improving the urban road network and mobility in Bonito are expected to reach R$ 30 million.
