Bonito launches third Obiettivo Salute festival in memory of Carmine Petrillo

Bonito, Italy, will host the third edition of the "Obiettivo Salute" festival on 9–10 August 2026. Organized by volunteers of the Obiettivo Salute group, the event honors the late Carmine Petrillo, a local community figure who died of cancer in June 2024. Its aim is to promote preventive health culture, provide accurate medical‑scientific information, and foster dialogue between health professionals and citizens, with part of the proceeds supporting medical research.

The opening conference on Sunday, 9 August at 18:00 in the former Convent of Sant’Antonio da Padova will feature specialists discussing topics such as tumor markers, chest imaging, antibiotics, back pain, and food allergies. After the talks, the program continues with live folk music, food stalls, and a tribute concert to Lucio Dalla on Monday night.
