Bonito police rescue woman abducted by ex-husband and accomplices

A 28-year-old woman was rescued by the Military Police in the early hours of Monday after being forcibly taken from her family home in Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul. The abduction occurred on Sunday evening in Vila Machado, where three hooded men invaded the residence, assaulted a man, and stole several electronic items.

Police located the victim hours later at a hotel in Dourados in the company of her 44-year-old ex-husband, who is identified as the person responsible for organizing the action. Following the investigation, authorities arrested three suspects in Bonito, including a Venezuelan national and a Paraguayan national. The stolen items, including mobile phones and a power bank, were recovered during the operation.
