Bonito Winter Festival 2026 to feature national and local artists

The 25th Bonito Winter Festival (FIB 2026) is scheduled to take place from August 26 to 30 in Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul. The event, themed “A Arte que Voa Alto, Pousa em Bonito,” is inspired by the flight of the Udu-de-coroa-azul, a bird symbolic to the region.

Organized by the City of Bonito in partnership with the Government of Mato Grosso do Sul and the State Culture Foundation, the festival offers free admission. The program includes music, theater, dance, cinema, visual arts, and craftsmanship. National musical attractions include Ferrugem on August 27, Léo Foguete on August 28, Seu Jorge on August 29, and the duo Humberto & Ronaldo on August 30.

In addition to national stars, the festival emphasizes the promotion of local artists from Mato Grosso do Sul across various disciplines, including LGBTQIA+ culture, literature, and fashion. The event aims to boost regional tourism, hospitality, and the local economy while democratizing access to culture.
