Bonn and Trier regions host various cultural and community events

Various cultural and community events are scheduled across the Bonn, Trier, and Mosel regions for the weekend of August 21–23, 2026.

In Bonn, the 42nd International Silent Film Festival continues at the University of Bonn's Arkadenhof, featuring classic and rare silent films. Additionally, the 33rd traditional wine festival is taking place at Münsterplatz, showcasing winemakers from Rheinhessen and Nahe alongside a musical program. Guided tours of the Old Cemetery are also available to explore local cultural history.

In the Trier-Euren area, the St. Helena Kirmes begins on Friday, featuring live music from various bands and a family-oriented Sunday program including a play park with activities like mini-golf and clown performances. Nearby, Gut Avelsbach is hosting its second craft market, where over 30 artists will display and sell handmade goods and decorations.
