Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival cancels 2027 event

Organizers of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival have announced the cancellation of the 2027 edition to allow the event site, known as ‘The Farm’ in Manchester, Tennessee, to recover from consecutive years of severe weather.

Following significant storm disruptions during the 2025 and 2026 festivals, organizers stated that the venue requires a break to recuperate. Despite previous investments in site resiliency—including improved drainage, the installation of 4.5 miles of new roadways, and the laying of 135 acres of new grass—the repeated heavy rainfall has taken a toll on the main venue and campgrounds.

In an official statement, organizers noted that the decision was not taken lightly but is necessary to ensure the festival’s future quality. While the 2027 event will not take place, the organizers expressed hope for a return to the site in 2028.
