Bonnaroo Music Festival to skip 2027 due to weather

The annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will not take place in 2027, according to an announcement from organizers on their official Instagram page. The four-day event, held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, is taking a hiatus to “rest and recover” following consecutive years of severe weather disruptions.

Heavy storms led to the cancellation of most of the 2025 festival, while the 2026 edition required an evacuation on its final day due to intense rainfall. The hiatus is intended to allow for a reset before future editions return.

Founded in 2002, Bonnaroo has grown into a major cultural destination, drawing approximately 80,000 attendees in 2024. The festival is known for its eclectic lineups featuring artists such as Paul McCartney and Radiohead, as well as art installations, parades, and various community activities.
