Bonnie Tyler funeral to be streamed live on August 17

British singer Bonnie Tyler, who died on 8 July at age 75 in a Portuguese hospital, will be memorialised with a funeral on 17 August at St Mary’s Church in Swansea, Wales. The service will be broadcast live on the artist’s official website and large outdoor screens will be set up outside the church for fans attending in person.

Tyler, famed for hits such as “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Holding Out for a Hero,” had been living in Portugal’s Algarve region and underwent emergency intestinal surgery earlier in the year, after which she fell into a medically‑induced coma. Her death was confirmed by family statements on social media.
