Bonnie Tyler posthumous Christmas single announced

The final song recorded by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, titled “Love, Light and Peace,” is scheduled for release as a Christmas single on November 13. The singer passed away in July at the age of 75.

Recorded last winter with longtime producer David Mackay, the track was written by Terry Britten and Chrissie Hammond. The decision to release the song as a farewell gift to fans was made by Mackay, Tyler’s husband Robert Sullivan, and Roger Bell, who originally discovered the singer.

The recording includes a spontaneous final message from Tyler, who said, “To all, goodnight,” into the microphone as the music faded. Sullivan stated that releasing the song is a way to honor her memory.
