Bonnie Tyler tributes staged in Wales and Germany after singer's death

Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler died on 8 July at age 75. In Germany, country‑pop vocalist Van de Forst released a country‑style version of "It's A Heartache" as a tribute, produced by Michael Voss, who previously worked with artists such as Michael Schenker and Slash.

A public tribute concert titled “Simply the Best – A Tribute to Bonnie Tyler” is scheduled for Sunday, 16 August at Oystermouth Castle in Swansea, Wales. The event will feature local musicians, singers and songwriters performing Tyler’s hits. It is part of Mumbles Retro week, which also includes Fleetwood Mac and Oasis tribute acts, a Kids Fest and a Boogie Days disco. Funeral arrangements and a Celebration of Life service at Swansea Minster have also been announced.
