Bonnie Tyler Hospitalised on 75th Birthday After Emergency Surgery
British singer Bonnie Tyler turned 75 while she remains in a hospital in Faro, Portugal, following an emergency bowel operation performed in May that required multiple procedures, an artificial coma and a heart‑stop episode. The artist’s management said her condition is serious but stable and that she is receiving the best possible care. Her husband, Robert Sullivan, was seen at the clinic on her birthday.
Tyler’s planned European tour has been disrupted: shows in Wiesmoor, Germany and Szeged, Hungary were cancelled, and other dates in July are still pending. Fans were urged by the singer’s website not to spread rumors, with the statement “no news is good news” used to reassure the public. In early 2026 the artist released two new singles – “One World One Home,” the theme for the documentary *Homeless*, and the ballad “Only Love.” Her last studio album, *The Best Is Yet To Come*, was released more than five years ago. The health issue has halted her touring plans and drawn widespread concern among her audience.
