The BONS SONS festival returns to the village of Cem Soldos from August 6‑9 for its 20th anniversary, featuring dozens of concerts, theatre, dance and community projects, with the band Quinta do Bill headlining the opening night.

Across the Médio Tejo region, villages such as Pego, Ferreira do Zêzere and Carvalhal hold summer celebrations between August 7‑10, combining music, folklore, gastronomy and reunions of residents and emigrants.

Guimarães stages the 13th Fest'In Folk parade on August 7, marking the 70th anniversary of the Grupo Folclórico da Corredoura and presenting an international orchestra with participants from seven countries.

Viseu opens the 2026 Feira de São Mateus, a 32‑day fair of culture, commerce and fireworks, inaugurated by President António José Seguro and local officials.
