Bons Sons music festival celebrates 20 years in Cem Soldos

The Bons Sons music festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary in the village of Cem Soldos, near Tomar, Portugal. Running from August 6 to 9, 2026, this year's festival operates under the theme of "resistance."

The event utilizes the entire village as a venue, transforming streets, squares, and churches into various stages to showcase Portuguese music. The festival features over 50 acts across 11 stages, ranging from emerging artists to established legends.

During the second day of the festival, performances included Luca Argel, Yakuza, TT Syndicate, and Brandos Costumes. The third day featured artists such as Suma, Lisa Sereno, and Lavoisier, alongside the Coro Polifónico da Pedreiral. Beyond musical performances, the festival includes workshops, exhibitions, short movie projections, and various community-driven cultural activities.
