Boo Carter may play both ways for Colorado Buffaloes

Colorado Buffaloes transfer Boo Carter, originally listed as a defensive back, may see playing time on offense, potentially following the two-way precedent set by Travis Hunter.

Head coach Deion Sanders noted that Carter has the potential to shine on offense, though the athlete must first focus on dominating defensively. Carter joins Colorado after two seasons at Tennessee, where he earned Southeastern Conference All-Freshman honors as a return specialist.

Sanders described Carter as the best athlete on the team and a player of professional caliber. Carter’s versatility was evident during his high school career at Bradley Central High School, where he recorded 1,795 all-purpose yards and 27 touchdowns.
