Book charms trend arrives at São Paulo Book Biennial
The “book charm” trend, featuring miniature book keychains, is gaining traction at the São Paulo Book Biennial 2026. The trend gained international visibility following a collaboration between the brand Coach and Penguin Random House, which saw celebrities and influencers sporting miniature versions of classics like Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice”.
In Brazil, the publisher Rocco has entered the market with a pre-launch of Clarice Lispector’s “A Hora da Estrela” at the biennial. The miniature version is priced at R$ 59.90. Due to high demand and positive reception, the publisher is considering expanding the format to include other works by Lispector, such as “Água Viva” and “A Paixão Segundo GH”, as well as titles from young adult fiction authors.
