Book Events in Mirande and Bagnères-de-Bigorre Attract Hundreds of Readers

The Les Mots d’Elles bookstore in Mirande organized a free presentation on 11 August of the book *Lo Buf del Lop*, a collection of 80 texts. The event featured author Guillaume Lopez and guitarist Morgan Astruc, with a small‑capacity venue that required reservations.

On 31 August, the "Amène ton Livre" festival in Bagnères-de-Bigorre attracted nearly 500 visitors to the Chocolatier on rue des Thermes. Organized by four women—Jennifer, Morgane, Lily and Gabrielle—the day offered discussions of romantasy, showcases of local creators and a convivial atmosphere.
