Book Salon Opens in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro

The second Bijelo Polje Book Salon was inaugurated today under the auspices of the Centre for Culture "Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo" and the publishing house Nova knjiga. State Secretary Miloš Nenezić of Montenegro's Ministry of Culture and Media, editor Marija Vujošević of Nova knjiga, and centre director Edin Smailović addressed the audience. The ceremony was led by Selma Omerović, president of the Bijelo Polje municipal assembly. The program featured a poetry book presentation by Jurica Pađen, hosted by writer Kemal Musić, and an evening concert by the band Aerodrom held in the museum courtyard. Book sales at discounted prices were also organized on the centre’s plaza.
