BookCity Milano expands to Como and Varese for 2026 edition

The BookCity Milano literary initiative is expanding its reach, with the cities of Como and Varese joining the circuit for upcoming editions.

In Como, the third edition of BookCity Como will run from November 22 to 29 under the theme ‘Il senno sulla Luna. Sette giorni di libri, ragioni e follie’. Organized by Parolario ETS, Teatro Sociale di Como AsLiCo, and Fondazione Alessandro Volta, the event will feature various locations including local libraries, bookstores, Villa Bernasconi, and Villa del Grumello. The program aims to promote reading and dialogue through diverse cultural venues and school collaborations.

Varese will host the initiative from November 23 to 29, featuring 21 free events. The program includes collaborations with the Bruna Brambilla Library, the Riccardo Malipiero Musical Lyceum, and the Panza Collection – FAI. The Varese schedule will explore the theme of finding reason through literature amidst modern complexities, integrating local history, music, cinema, and art.
