Booker T discusses career longevity and WWE backstage experiences

He discussed his proactive approach to life after full-time wrestling, which led to the establishment of his wrestling school and the brand Reality of Wrestling in 2006.

Booker T emphasized the importance of younger wrestlers, such as Zilla Fatu, planning for their financial and professional futures beyond the ring. He also offered praise for Sami Zayn’s Undisputed WWE Championship run, describing Zayn as a versatile performer who has earned his position at the top of the industry.

Reflecting on his early days in WWE, Booker T recounted a period when he challenged unwritten backstage rules. After being warned by a colleague that taking naps backstage could result in ‘heat’ from other wrestlers, Booker T decided to test the theory by openly informing Jim Ross, the individual who signed his contract, of his intention to sleep during downtime.
