Booker T reveals near tag team partnership with Bad Bunny

Professional wrestling Hall of Famer Booker T revealed that he was originally intended to be the tag team partner for Bad Bunny at WrestleMania 37. Instead, Damian Priest teamed with the music star to face The Miz and John Morrison.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T noted that while the plan was discussed, he did not pursue the opportunity strongly enough to make it happen. When asked why the arrangement changed, he declined to disclose the specific reasons.

The connection between the two performers dates back to 2020, when Bad Bunny released a song titled ‘Booker T’ on his album ‘El Último Tour del Mundo’. The song later won a Latin Grammy. Bad Bunny and Damian Priest ultimately secured a victory in the match on April 10, 2021.
