Cultural festivals and book fairs held in Moldova and Romania

Various cultural and literary events are taking place across Romania and Moldova. The 9th edition of the Bookfest International Book Salon is currently held in Chișinău, featuring over 30 publishing houses from Moldova and Romania. The event includes approximately 80 activities, such as book launches, debates, and meetings with authors, aimed at strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.

Other notable cultural activities include the 6th Bocșa Film Festival in Romania, featuring film screenings and literary symposiums, and the Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival (SCAF), which explores the theme ‘Garden of Entropy’. Additionally, the itinerant ‘EVROVIZION’ exhibition is set to arrive at the National Museum of Art in Moldova, exploring European identity through contemporary art.

Local festivities are also underway, such as the City Days in Covasna, Romania, which features concerts, sports competitions, and community workshops.
