Bookiramo festival returns for fourth edition in Podgorica

The fourth edition of the contemporary literature festival, ‘Bookiranje’, is scheduled to take place on September 12 and 13 at the Book Caffeu in Podgorica. Organized by the publishing house Fokalizator, the event will feature approximately forty participants across literary programs, musical performances, and discussion panels addressing social issues.

The festival’s opening will be moderated by actress Julija Milačić Petrović Njegoš, featuring a performance by the rock band Prizma. Key programming includes a panel titled ‘Revisionism and EU Values’ with regional historians Husnija Kamberović, Sanja Petrović Todosijević, and Vjeran Pavlaković.

Fokalizator will also promote several new publications, including the documentary ‘Uputstvo za rušenje’ by Jonila Godole, the poetry collection ‘Džimi do you love me?’ by Krsto Giljen, and ‘Na rubu kanona’ by Goran Radojičić. The program also includes a presentation of the book ‘Poljska konjica’ by the late poet Marko Vešović.
