BookLive expands original IP with new pop-up shop and Webtoon launch

BookLive and its group companies are expanding their original intellectual property (IP) presence through new retail and digital releases.

From September 17 to September 30, 2026, a mini pop-up shop for the comic ‘Hana Himeru Kimi no Meteor’ will be held at the SHIBUYA TSUTAYA IP Bookstore. The event will feature exclusive merchandise, character standees, and voice comic screenings. To coincide with the event, the BookLive digital bookstore will offer free chapters and discount coupons for the series.

Additionally, C-Route, a BookLive subsidiary, is launching a new original Webtoon titled ‘I Changed the Future by Paying the Price’ on the LINE Manga platform starting September 16, 2026. The series is part of the ‘TOON8’ label, a collaboration involving Fuji TV and other industry leaders aimed at creating new IP for both domestic and international markets.
