Bookmarkers initiative donates books to Agia Varvara school

The Bookmarkers initiative, founded by Grigoris Dimitriadis, has donated books to the 2nd Gymnasium of Agia Varvara to promote literacy among youth. The donation took place on the morning of Friday, September 25.

Nikolaos A. Koukis, President of the Bookmarkers' Scientific Committee, delivered the books in the presence of school principal Alexandra Fengi and various educators. The action was a direct response to a specific request from the school, aiming to provide useful materials for the educational process rather than just symbolic gestures.

The initiative seeks to build an active community of readers and strengthen the connection between young people and books. According to Koukis, the project is driven by Dimitriadis's personal passion for reading and focuses on addressing the practical needs of schools and other community structures.
